Air Force One gets tagged

It was done on Andrews Airforce Base, under full security. I don’t know what to be more scared of the fact that a person could get close enough to Air Force One and spray paint it on the most secured base in the US, or the world of hurt the US government will put on Marc very shortly.
I’m amazed. Is this for real and not one of those viral marketing ploys? Wouldn’t this be bigger-than-just-one-website news?

i love this. its made my week. actually make that year. so ballsy. have not got a clue if it is real but looks it. anyone know how they did it? i think it can stand for anything you want by the way.

#1 Nobody is stupid enough to do that and then actually brag about it on his website, even putting his website on the plane. Inviting federal authorities to stop at his house.
#2 Even if you were that stupid, I would think the men with guns instructed to shoot at anyone approaching AF1 probably would have put a damper on the experience.
even if its not real i think its pretty ballsy. invites an interesting discussion and still sort of a fuck you to W.

As stated befor, wouldnt this be more explicide if it was real and all… I mean this is “Aire Force One” if somthing like this happend it would atleast make the news-papers, let alone nightly news, morning news, and of course the un ending list of websites.

That is totally impossible. I know, because the amount of first line security measures and procedures alone, will catch anyone trying to even place a finger on the fenceline. This is totally bogus and is for commercial use only. That isn’t real. But at the same time… it would be hilarious to see it ACTUALLY happen.

Security on base is a joke.. has been for quite some time.
Just take a look at the reports of theft on US bases and you will see what im talking about.
IF this is .. FAKE .. It sure is a pretty damn convicing one.. And why hasn’t it hit the mainstream media? Think about it.. Sit back and think.
Do you seriusly think the military/gooberment is going to admit something like this happend? It would put a spotlight on how screwed their security really is.
(note of fact.. If the video is real .. The Base comander, Officer on duty incharge of securty, and most likly more.. Would be canned or shiped to a crappy post and their carers ruined)

Look, if it was reall I don’t think the gov would want that getting out. They probably painted over it as fast as they could. Do you think they would go on national tv and be llike “who tagged our plane? we’ll get you for this!”

I have grown up on military bases most of my life. In terms of security nothing is ever locked down outside of a prison why because your dealing with people. People are lazy uncaring fools that most times dont get paid enough to really give a fuck. Is it possable to tag airforce 1 i think it would be! its crazy to do because they’ll throw your ass in jail just to make a point but i have to think that security cant be 100% 24hrs a day. They can try but it will never be. The reputation of AF1 alone is enough to keep most sane people from trying anything but not mark ecko. If it is real you wont hear anything on the internet or on the news. I think the only real way is to take a trip to andrews and see how close you can get to the 89th airlift wing (the group in charge of both AF1’s thats right theirs 2, tail numbers 28000 and 29000 with a airforce designation vc-25a). If the vidoe is real you wont be able to turn your car on the block that has the fence line. I hope its real because i love seeing crazy shit like that – peace
looks about right to me…looks like somebody’s got some b a l l s ! even with access i wouldn’t even dream about tagging an aircraft…they’d kill me….it’s gonna suck to be him _real_ soon. :P

I agree with Richard Morekoochi. Humans are fallible even when carrying guns. This could have happened. I don’t believe the security is as tight as everyone thinks. In the beginning of the video you see the kids hit what appears to be a golf flag, if anyone has google mapped Andrews Airforce Base you will see a golf course adjacent to the hangars. AND you can slightly get a visual of the special hangar on the right side of the screen for a brief second…google image it if you are interested. What if it really did happen and the government required Marc Ecko to add the legal at the end? Which is worse to admit to a lapse in security or to pawn it off as a hoax?

whats everyone getting so upset about? the film is f**king cool. if only his clothes had such well thought out detail. i think he should start making movies. whether real or not it fooled me and half the country. about time we all had something fun to discuss. if it was an ad (i’m not convinced its fake yet) but if it was then its better than any of the ones i have seen on TV for quite some time.

It looks pretty real to me.. Fucking crazy shit though. And to the guy who said the paint goes onto the surface too fast for it to be real; You’re an idiot and have never actually seen anyone doing, let alone DONE any graffiti other than with a permenant marker in your life. As for the people saying it’s impossible, I disagree. Like a whole lot of other people have said, people are lazy. Really lazy. People break into train yards every day, and leave their mark on the trains themselves. Really, they should beef up the security every single time this happens to a train, but the reality is you’d be lucky if they beefed the security up more than once every 5 years. They also have guard dogs in alot of the train yards, and they’re pretty easy to avoid if you know what you’re doing. He probably scouted it out for months beforehand, making sure he knew exactly what he was doing to uh.. You know, avoid being shot in the head. Peace.
do you really think that breaking into a train yard and breaking into not just an airforce base, but the actual location of airforce one are even remotely comparable? just because bush isnt the best leader doesnt mean that his security force is weak. People may be lazy, but they do not choose lazy people to guard things like that. If you have ever been around the secret service you would know that they are almost scarily efficient (my experience from being around bush sr on several occasions, he always has several secret service men around him). If you look at google maps, you will see that the golf course is not actually adjacent to any hangers. He would have to cross quite a bit of open space to get to the plane. Anyway, his admission that it is fake should leave no doubt… We dont live in a police state, to stop him from showing his video would be a violation of his first amendment rights. There would be no reason for them to go that far over an act of vandalism.

IT’S NOT REAL! Do people not read comments before posting? IT IS NOT REAL! Take it for what it actually is. Awesome. It’s beautiful. The dude from Eko (spelling?) clothing did this for a marketing/statement. He rented a 747 in california, painted it to almost exacting specs, and filmed it with splices of Andrews Air Force Base (where the AF 1 fleet is kept) mixed in. It convinced a couple of high level officials who needed to actually check AF 1 before they declared it a fake. Funny, and clever vid. But ABSOLUTELY fiction. READ COMMENTS!
The real Air Force one has many more Antennas on top.
