Hybrid cars seem to be all the rage these days. With Toyota looking to push their consumer hybrid car Prius to 100+ MPG, the only thing we’ll see down the road are higher MPG hybrids to compliment our rising gas prices. TWIKE.us is going old school to top current street hybrids.

Tailpipes? We don’t need no stinking tailpipes. The Twike has 7000 watts on tap at the touch of a button. In addition, a hard-charging pair of riders can produce 500 watts of power and extend the range up to 50%.

Doing away with the gas engine altogether, TWIKE’s are powered by electronic motors and good ‘ol Fred Flintstone foot power.
