The supposed advertisement is for Breyers “Lickable” ice cream. A parody.

it’s a fake…. a site that posted it ( http://entensity.net/ ) was ordering with a cease and desist to remove it and threated with copy right infringement for using the Bryers logo without consent … horrible horrible….. funny funny …. illegal on many many facets ;)

  2. Derek says:

Wow. Thanks for the update Chad. I think that will make some child advocates as well as Breyers rest at ease.

  3. Jake says:

Chad, isn’t it protected as being a parody?

  4. Justin says:

Zeesh, I could barely see the box.

  5. KeR-E says:

justin.. im not sure how old you are… if you will get this… or understand the pun in what you said…

    but…

im happy i could not see the “box”

  6. Justin says:

lol, i’m not clueless…just sounding ancient there for a second…

  7. chad says:

maybe it is protected… I’m not a law guy ;). Regardless the guy posted the e-mail from the company threatening legal actions, its a very slanderious parody though, most people have been thinking it was real and that could negativly affect the company. They were probably using big words and log sentences to scare him even if the work was protected…

  8. chris says:

The guy that created this is a jackass. He may think it’s funny but if they catch him they should sue to the hilt. That might teach him… Maybe not but….

  9. chad says:

I think suing him would be a bit much, it was just twisted humor….. thats like getting fined for telling a dirty joke

  10. Jake says:

Am I the only one who thinks the post should be edited for people who don’t read these comments?

  11. Roy says:

    Tasteless Parody, yes
    Trademark Infringement, yes
Does the company have a case, slightly maybe… I’m sure they could drown him in legal fees…

  12. johnny says:

Saw this on Huffpo. If that’s a parody it’s not funny.Breyer’s should sue.
