Overpriced caller ID for your TV

If you’re a person who absolutely refuses to get up in the middle of your favorite TV show, but at the same time is expecting an extremely important phone call this might appeal to you.

This little marvel of technology (j/k) is a small box that hooks up to your television and at the same time is also connected to your phone line. When the phone rings the it will pop-up the Caller ID info across the top of the television screen, allwithout interrupting your current show.

Wonder if the manufacturers ever head of a portable phone with a caller ID display? Anyway, enough ranting.

Lazyness, however, will cost you. The TV Messenger with remote is available from SmartHome for $109.99. A standard version without remote is availble for $73.99.
