google finance

Google’s beta finance web service is now up and running. Get your financial stock quotes and business activity while accessing the usual Google services.

Offering company facts, history, financial statements, and any related online content in the form of blog posts and dicussions, the service will be a definite competitor to other free web based financial services. If you have a little time, experiment with the [Flash powered] sliding financial history.

Google is obviously using its vast index of the internet to crawl any and all relevant business information for your financial research.

On a related note, according to Shimon Sandler, Google is also dipping into the real estate as well.

ive been using it since it came out, very nice, i can add all my stocks to it and check my status from anywhere without having to log into my trading account.
and the flash sliding history graph is amazingly cool too!
