Couric says “See yah” to Today

It’s official Katie Couric has decided to leave the Today show.

Katie Couric, the most successful host in the more than 50-year history of NBC’s “Today” show, told her audience of more than 6 million viewers this morning that she will step down from the program and leave NBC when her contract concludes at the end of next month.via

She will now move on to anchor the evening news at CBS. I don’t watch the Today show, so this really means nothing to me, but obviously it does to six million other people.

    Thank God! To think I stopped watching the show because of her. Well, Matt Lower isn’t that much better either but I’ll take what I can get.
