Just in case you missed out, the web ran a muck with April Fools day pranks. From Google’s own Romance service to the mildly humorous Wordpattern spoof, everyone took the time to add their own little Fools Day prank to the list.

  • iWOOT – This device supposedly downloads the contents of your brain to a portable storage device.
  • Blizzard Entertainment – Founds BurgerCroft. That’s right, food plus gaming. Gaming geeks can drool can’t they?
  • ActiveWin – A sneak peak at Internet Explorer 8 codenamed “Teahuppo”.
  • Yahoo Buys Web 2.0 – That’s right, Yahoo dug the pocket change out and picked up every Web 2.0 company in existence.
  • I turned 23 – Oh I guess this really happened. Blech.

You can see a longer list of this weekends pranks on Wikipedia’s entry for April 1, 2006.
