Cellphone do/don’t give you cancer

Researchers at the Swedish National Institute for Working Life issued a report this week disputing two earlier studies that claimed cell phone use has no correlation to increased brain tumor risk. The Swedish study found that long-term mobile phone exposure could raise the chance of developing cancer.
In January, a four-year study performed by the London-based Institute of Cancer Research and three British universities found that talking on a cell phone had no effect on tumor rates. That research included 966 people with glioma brain tumors and 1,716 healthy respondents. Individuals were questioned on first use, lifetime years of use, cumulative hours of use, and number of calls they made.
My feeling is that YES, cellphones can put you on an increased risk of developing cancer. COME ON, you are putting something that operates at the same frequency as a microwave next to your head. Oh, and laptops might make you sterile too :-P
In the UK, science says it doesn’t – but most people think it does.
I think that they do increase the risk.
My dad died from a brain tumor. was a heavy mobile phone user on business work. I talked to his doctors many a times about this before and they are inclined too think so also.
What ever the research be, but the fact is , use of mobile does mutate some abnormal changes in the users.
I have discussed this issue with my friends and they all do agree that , after they started using mobile , all complained a minor headache and other anomalies in the normal routine. The truth needs to be exposed. MNC cannot curb the reality , after all its the question of the entire human race.
I don’t understand why people seem to believe this, there is absolutely no scientific evidence backing such claims up. In fact one Swedish study showed a decrease in cancer rates with increased cell phone use. It is physically impossible (and I mean in terms of physics) that it has an effect on your brain, the wattage is much too low. Its more likely the exponentially increasing amounts of pollution in the air and water giving people headaches/tumors than cellphone usage.
I think its a load of rubbish
