Google prefers sites with invalid structure?!

A very interesting read concerning the crawling habits of the internet search engine giant:

The results of my test surprised me. Not only did I find that Google apparantly does not give any preference to sites with valid HTML, Google actually seemed to prefer the sites with blatant errors in their code.

Compelling evidence regarding these recent claims. Kind of answers the question when you’re looking through Google results only to find sites with little to no value.

    I’m not convinced. Decent study, but only tested twice…

    A biased and unconvincing article. The article writer seems to really love MSN search: “MSN seems to be flawless ” And only two tests is less than convincing.
