Netvibes integrates Box.net

Box.net [Preview Scoop: Box.net Online Storage] is now accessible through your Netvibes startpage.

The snazziest feature of the new Box.net module: If you have music files stored in your Box.net account, clicking on said files will stream them directly through your Netvibes startpage. Read more about the new module on the official Netvibes blog.

It looks like developers are making great use of the Box.net API. I can’t wait to see some standalone utilities that will integrate the free (for 1GB) file storage into the Windows shell or OSX Finder.

    Hi,

I read your comments on web based personalized desktops. I was wondering if you have visited Pageflakes (http://www.pageflakes.com) already? We are offering similar services that allow you to read news feeds and set up multiple pages that can be customized with local weather, address book, todo lists, event finders, TV guides and much more. Looking forward to hearing from you. Maybe you have some thoughts on what we can improve.

    Thanks and best regards
    Tegan
