Nipping at the heels of the likes of MySpace, TagWorld’s recent foray into the social networking arena has been everything but quiet. Recently clipping the 1 million member mark, TagWorld now offers a standalone music discovery service which streams recommended audio tracks to your desktop based on pre-configured artists. No download required as all tracks are streamed through your favorite browser.

While the social networking arena seems all too saturated, internet users will never cease in their search for music. There are a handful of music recommendation [or discovery] services available to internet users. None more prominent than Last.fm and Pandora. Both services are equally impressive with their immense audio databases allowing for accurate music recommendations. How will TagWorld stack up to either services?
