Now how do you go about collecting smells?

According to the China View, Beijing authorities rely on an interesting “bank” which serves as a repository for different smells.

Song said they have so far collected about 500 samples and each sample is kept refrigerated at -18 degrees Celsius. “This way the scent sample is maintaining its ‘freshness’ for at least three years,” Song said. Enditem

An interesting day job I’m sure… collecting, labeling, and categorizing unique smells.

    the point is to collect samples for criminal investigation.. strange indeed. odors as evidence. “the culprit has a very distinct body odor which matches exibit (a)”…
