Less soda, more alcohol and tea

Some prominent nutrition experts put out new guidelines Wednesday urging Americans to cut back on calorie-rich sodas while allowing more leeway for alcohol and lots of room for tea and coffee — up to 40 ounces a day.

Forget stocking the fridge with soda pop and other calorie-rich beverages. 40 ounces a day equates into roughly three Tall cups from Starbucks. I for one will gladly drink my part. Now is that 40 ounces of recommended alcohol? Or, is that limited to tea and coffee? Read the rest of the article on MSN and take note of the lines recommending recommended amounts of beer for men.

I’m drinking tea like it’s going out of style here, realized it was a month past it’s best by date. I think I passed the 40oz limit though.

Beer, thanks to my allergies gives me a killer headache & a runny nose. Still worth it for a really good beer.
