Pixoh – Web based image editing

Pixoh provides users with a web based image editor with more feature friendliness and your own copy of MS Paint.

Oftentimes I find myself waiting for Photoshop to load for a simple image resize or crop. A serious inconvenience for the little jobs. Thankfully, Pixoh provides the same basic editing functionality from within your favorite browser. Features include:

  • Import pictures from any website [for editing] including Flickr (via a handy bookmarklet)
  • Export to Flickr or save as JPG, PNG, PDF, TIF, or PSD (great touch to be able to save in multiple formats)
  • Crop, resize, and rotate (with ‘undo’ using CTRL + Z)
  • Active development (more features on the way)

Try the service out for yourself and chime in with your thoughts. No more waiting for fonts and brushes to load in order for you to resize or crop images.

It looks like Pixoh refuses to import “protected” images for editing. Can anyone else confirm this?
