Japanese scientists defy the laws of bullsh*t

No bull here. Japanese scientists have successfully extracted gasoline from cow dung.

Sakae Shibusawa, an agriculture engineering professor at the Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, said his team has successfully extracted .042 ounces of gasoline from every 3.5 ounces of cow dung by applying high pressure and heat.

I can’t say that I would be willing to stand near the processing unit. High heat (572 Fahrenheit to be exact), pressure (30-atmosphere’s), and cow dung (moo)? That has messy stink bomb [if something goes awry] written all over it.

On a side note, Japanese scientists have also managed to extract “an aromatic ingredient of vanilla from cattle dung”. Perfect! I we are now one step closer to having odor free bathroom breaks.

I would love to hear what Texan President Dubbyah’s reaction to these new scientific breakthroughs would be.

    Brilliant!
Just keep a cow, some hay, and a stove in the back of you pickup and your set for a road trip!
