Apparently Buy.com is offered a coupon code which will net Buy.com customers a new domain via GoDaddy. Just follow this link here.

buy and godaddy

I’m not sure how valid this coupon is or whether GoDaddy will actually honor any of these domains considering no purchases were made… but it’s worth a try right?

You can follow the Digg comments or the original forum thread.

    No such luck yet….

Did you guys actually make a purchase? I’m sure the Buy.com system isn’t stupid enough to just give away free domains without other purchases.

who knows… lol. i received my confirmation emails.. “your order has been received [...] we’ll notify you when your order is shipped”. i’m not sure if this one will fall through considering it was on digg (and we all know what happens when sites or news make it to the front page).

  10. alex cd says:

Woohoo, they accept paypal, now for international shipping

Still no luck here. Perhaps their system is facing delays trying to sort this mess out (assuming there was a mess in the first place, which may or may not have been the case if it was indeed the case that it was a case).
