Prostitutes call for ban on GTA

Apparently, the sex workers of the Sex Workers Outreach Project (Didn’t know they existed – perhaps a Teamsters local?) aren’t too happy about their ingame counterparts being treated violently in the GTA games. They note that the games are a bad influence on children, and might encourage rape and violent behavior towards prostitutes in real life (And we know how legal prostitution is).
That’s actually kinda funny!
So… Let me get this straight. PROSTITUTES are urging parents to not allow their children to play a VIDEO GAME, but on that very same wesbite of theirs, they are trying to make prostitution legal? What the….?! Considering that these people make their living doing something illegal, it’s hard to imagine that they can dare to have any say in this matter. Also, since when are prostitues specifically targeted in GTA?? I’ve never played a single mission that REQUIRED me to beat/kill/have sex with a prosititue. They are only there for realism.
