How-To: Convert .flv (flash video) to .avi or .mpg

This inspired me when Derek asked me is there a way to play FLV files on a Mac.

Granted, you can always use VLC, but what if you wanted to play the video back on your iPod?

This method uses the free RivaFLVencoder.

    yeah i dont get FLV
    FLV 320×240 mp3 audio mono @ 22000hz 50 min = 217MB
    divx 480×360 mp3 audio mono @ 44100hz, 112kbs = 224MB
    WHAT IS THE POINT?
    , please can we have 1000 more codecs???
