Gmail for domains is in active beta

How does the idea of Gmail as a domains webmail service sound?

We’re testing a new service with the school by hosting Gmail accounts with SJCC domain addresses (like student@jaguars.sjcc.edu), plus admin tools for efficient account management. Massive storage and features that tame the most unruly inboxes, like powerful mail search, conversation view for messages, and a fast interface, make Gmail very handy for students

Check out San Jose City College’s webmail service which is completely hosted by Gmail. Head on over to the beta request page let Google know you’re interested.

Windows live custom domains have this facility too.
But it sucks. Just as hotmail sucks. Windows live mail beta isnt too great too.
Was waiting for google to get into this. They do it the best.
