Who said the best things in life aren’t free? UNEASYsilence has created a Toll Free number for you to contact us. Thats right, FREE. Our international readers can reach us as well, by using Skype, which allows you to call toll free numbers WITHOUT Skype out.

So if you want your idea heard, or included in a podcast, give us a ring. It’s doesn’t cost you a thing! (I’m a poet, and didn’t even know it)

That’s pretty cool. Are you guys going to post the really strange call that you’re sure to receive? LOL

  2. Derek says:

only if we have permission ;)

  3. Justin says:

Just a question. Who will I be talking to? What do I say?! “Hi, I’ve got a tip, whoever this is”? :|

  4. FernyB says:

Have you guys ever used, Gizmo project?
You get $0.25 cents when you create an account and its 1 cent a minute for calls in the US.

I LOVE the site. I kinda miss the sweaty face guy but in fairness, he sorta creeped me out.
Anyway, I get so many great tips from Uneasysilence and I’m living way over in Dublin, Ireland the last six years (originally from Toronto).
I tried to use VoipStunt on my Mac Powerbook G4 but it seems like a Windows only application(?) so I had to use my ‘other’ laptop – an 11 or 12 year old Acer with a 2 Gig hard drive and not even a megabyte RAM – which is running windows. It works but when I call a number in Canada they can hear me but their voices come back sounding like they’ve been doing highly illegal substances.
Any advice? It’s one of those Windows-only problems like Google Earth (which I was VERY, VERY happy to find I could download lastnight fianlly, no bother!)
    Any advice would be appreciated.
    Thanks
    James

Oh crap! I didn’t realize that was going to be posted! I thought it was an email I was sending! Can you not post that please as it’s a bit too personal? Thanks.

  7. Dan says:

Just wanted to give a shout out to the heavy breather… And also wanted to POST the first caller that gave us permission to post their message….

Test, Test… Here is the voicemail.

  8. FernyB says:

For Mac / Windows / Linux users I recommend using Gizmo. because its awsome it can map out where the caller is calling from, sorta. and You can also use Access numbers to call SIP numbers.

  9. Dylan says:

So what is the line primairly used for? Do we reccomend stories, rant about your greatness, or what?

  10. apoorva says:

hi i just called up from india using skype…its pretty cool…

  11. Chris says:

I don’t understand how to call the number without skypreout. Could someone point me in the right direction?

    Thanks

  12. Derek says:

@dylan: the line can be used for anything. story tips, ideas, requests, or troubleshooting. we’ve had a number of calls from readers with simple hello’s as well as a few technical support issues. dan and i are normal guys so response time may not be up to snuff.

@chris, open the skype dial pad and enter +1 – 888 – 986 – 3279 with your keyboard or mouse.

  13. [...] And if you’ve missed our previous post, Skype allows free calls to toll free numbers which UNEASY has convienantly added to the list of contact choices for our readers. [...]
