Now, a screwdriver could mean TWO things on a plane

Just an observation:
Small tools and scissors are no longer banned from airliners as the Transportation Security Administration implements changes to its passenger screening policy.
Among the items no longer prohibited from airliner cabins: scissors 4 inches or less, and tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches and pliers that are smaller than 7 inches.

Finally! This was so ridiculous. They’ve taken so many small items away from me in the past, it is not even funny. I wonder what the airlines are going to do with their collection… sell it back? :-P
As if airlines are still a threat anyway?? ;) Oh well, that’s another discussion…
You could still do some serious damage with a screwdriver or a wrench.
Wouldn’t want to be on a plane with any nuts who could pull out a wrench and batter me to death… altho the likely hood that that will happen is slim to none, so I will just have to take the risk….
you could do damage with the sporks they offer customers on flights. i never under estimate the resourcefulness of individuals.
And I’m am living testament to that, I was recently stabbed in the cheeck with a spork…
Good point yet I hear myself saying “Oh… but the Screwdriver is deadlier than the spork! I challenge thee to a duel” *getting carried away…
Dylan… Glad to hear you survived the deadlyness that is a spork, care to tell us more :P I am intrigued
yes do tell dylan. was it a plastic spork?
Well, some guys were being idiots, and then one tripped another, and he had a spork in his hand, and it ended up stabbing my in the cheeck.
