Google strips entire sites

Google mobile automatically strips websites for a “mobile friendly” version suitable for small screens on mobile devices such as PDAs, cellphones, handhelds, and whatever trick pocket-sized toys with screens you might have lying around the house.

If you access your Gmail from the mobile handset [http://m.gmail.com/], Google will redirect any links you open from your emails to a stripped Google rendition.

oh that is weird. that feature should be implemented. that way friends / family can send pages to mobile handset users without them having to open google mobile up directly.
