Strip out Google Earth, Picassa, The Screensaver, Google Desktop, Google Toolbar, and Adobe Reader and you have a nearly perfect bundle!

I simpy have NO PROBLEM with Google paying my Antivirus tab.

    isnt it on a 30 or 60 day trial like the normal free versions from symantec? You know the kind that comes with a new PC. Im sure i read that somewhere

    …have you used picasa or google earth? I mean they’re amazing apps, why would stripping them out make this any better? You don’t have to install them. I take a lot of digicam pics and picasa made me move from iphoto without looking back.

    I’ve always used AVG Free instead of Norton. It’s a rumor that Norton slows down your computer. I used to believe it, but not anymore. Also, for free firewall protection there’s Sygate, i think its called
