We’re a moody bunch of bloggers aren’t we?

This site is not responsible for any misunderstanding.It looks like those [what I thought were meaningless] “mood” descriptions on LiveJournal posts are being put to good use. And by good use, I mean plotted on a graph to display how moody the LiveJournal bunch are.

Moodgrapher plots the mood levels reported by LiveJournal users in their posts during the last days, updated every 10 minutes. Two numbers are reported by Moodgrapher: the percentage of posts reporting a certain mood (the dashed, black line below), and the “rate of change” of a mood — the difference between the usual amount of posts with this mood and the amount in a given hour (this is the continuous red line below).
Yes! Now I have pertinent information from which to base my next thesis paper on the meaningless posts of cats, dogs, and fluff ball posts on LiveJournal! [Sarcasm]
