Roll useless windows out of the way
I’m a minimalistic kind of guy. Icons, folders, inactive open windows, and anything that does not have my current focus falls into the category of “junk which I shouldn’t have to look at because my screen is small and every pixel counts”. Did that make sense?

WinRoll 2.0 is a godsend for users – uninterested in virtual desktops – who balance more windows than their monitor can display. Similar to Unsanity’s WindowShade X for OSX users, WinRoll 2.0 provides Windows users with a handy option to “roll” open windows up into the title bar [similar to what your blinds do when you want a clear view of what's on the other side]. Simply right-click on a window title bar and poof, your window rolls up instantly. The memory footprint on this utility is near to nothing [204K]. The only application that I’ve observed to be incompatible with WinRoll 2.0 is iTunes. Other features include transparency and minimize to tray.

I’ve been using WinRoll for ages, and love it. (Reminds me of MacOS8 and 9. :P)
It’s really useful and good to see other people promoting it. Thumbs up. (Y) :D
In Linux this function exists a long time ago. And in this post is not mentioned.
Bye!
well forgive me not mentioning functionality in linux. osx and windows are my “primary” operating systems.
hopefully this works…
if your worried about saving screen space, you really should ditch that winxp theme ;)

WindowBlinds has had this function for a while. I hardly ever use it.
Want to save screen space, minimize the window for god’s sake…
i think rolling the window would be a little more efficient if you’re trying to check something directly behind it.
