Judging by the brief description and screenshots, AllPeers appears to be a promising Firefox extension for users wishing to share files with friends / family over the internet [via Firefox].

AllPeers is a free extension which combines the strength of Firefox and the efficiency of BitTorrent to transform your favorite browser into a media sharing powerhouse.

File sharing without the need to compress and email or upload to a file sending service like YouSendIt.com? What’s not to like?

At current, the extension is not yet available. They’re offering an email announcement for users hoping to have early access to the extension.

    i dont like the GUI… but it looks promising

    agreed. the ui looks like it could use a little more elbow grease. i’m sure it will be tweaked before an official release.
