The latest extension which seems to be turned heads as of late is Performancing for Firefox. If you’ve spent any time playing with Flock, you’ve undoubtedly taken time to use the integrated blogging feature with drag n’ drop functionality.

performancing

Performancing for Firefox adds a split screen blog editor to your Firefox browser. Clicking the Performancing icon (in the status bar) or pressing F8 on your keyboard presents a user with a split-screen fully featured blog editor. Users can also opt to open Performancing in a new tab or within the sidebar.

I’ve been running the Performancing for the past few days and admire the overall package. Intuitiveness, drag n’ drop, rich text editor, HTML editor, live preview, multiple blogs, categories, history of posts [and the option to edit previous posts inline for republishing], and a notes feature [providing users with an option to save unfinished posts for later editing].

Try the Performancing Firefox extension for yourself.

I’ve been using it for a day or two now and I’m liking it a lot too. But it seems to be having troubles posting to Blogger, giving some error massge that they still haven’t cleared up (checked their boards). So I’ve been using it to creat the post then just coy/paste the code to my blog, so it’s still useful.

It’s apparently a template problem. I have to say that their support seems to be slow or non-existent. A few people have posted about this on their forums and they say they’re stumped about the problem, but yet they know that that particular error code exists!? (ATOM server: Error #3: [object Object])
Anyway, I wasn’t asking for help here, just reporting about it! :)

    *shrugs*
-still no go with the update.

the upgrade really was needed. Before all my posts were only saved as drafts, but now it works fine!
