Use it as a self-heating midlayer under a waterproof shell, or as a standalone jacket in frigid temps. The MET5 is constructed from Polartec Power Shieldâ€â€?a tightly woven, nylon fabric that’s highly wind and abrasion resistantâ€â€?with Polartec Heat panels throughout.

Despite whatever the description might say, the thing is still a $600 “fleece” jacket. For some reason, I still want one.
