The provider of GMails antivirus software revealed
Posted in Tech by Dan at 9:00 am
A few little birdies have tipped us off that the provider of the GMail antivirus software is Brightmail, which is now a Symantec product. So essentially Symantec powers the antiviral, and spam management of Googles GMail service.

Any sources rather than just a link to the site? Perhaps an explination on how you found this out?

All I can say is that a few birdies told me… But the partnership with Brightmail is reported over the internet.
