Windows Onecare Live has gone ‘Live’

The beta release of Windows OneCare Live is open. The idea is that all of your security and privacy needs will be controlled and monitored by a single piece of Microsoft software. It’s an anti-virus, firewall, and personal computer nanny wrapped up into a single package.

Are you tired of spending time trying to protect and maintain your computer? Are you worried that you’re still not doing everything you should to keep it safe and running at optimal performance? If your answer is “Yes,” then Windows OneCare is for you. Windows OneCare is a comprehensive PC health service that goes beyond security to take an integrated approach to help protect and care for your computer.

Are you going to willingly allow SkyNet Microsoft to have full control of your computer?

Try It

I’m sure that after this security system’s beta, Micro$oft will be charging for this service…

If the service costs or not, I still have a problem with Micro$oft being given the power to monitor the problems they cause and should have fixed before releasing their product.

If it goes to a paid service then buying the service would be rewarding Micro$oft for having a flawed product. I can’t imagine any other product where the buy/user is willing to except security defects of the level that Micro$oft allows.

Then there’s the question of how much do you trust Micro$oft (look what they did with the recent x-box) would they knowingly release problems so that their system could find them… then tout their product as being superior?
