Maybe they’ll let it run for a little bit to see how its email service servers fare?

Welcome at G2G Exchange. With this new website you can easily share your files that are at your Gmail account(s). You can download a file from the website or “download” it directly to your Gmail account. Finally you can use/share those gigabytes without any trouble.

If you’re curious and have plans to test the service, do use a dummy account in case Google does decide to send a formal letter to G2G exchange. I’m sure any evidence of active Gmail accounts utilizing the G2G service will be closed down as well.
