$8,000 on text messages / emails alone!?

What if you happened to send out approximately 50 texts / emails per hour, 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year… Would you check yourself into some sort of treatment center for a potential addiction?
In the space of a year, ‘Steven’ spent £4,500 on text messaging. He was sending about 700 texts a week and resigned from his job after bosses found out he had sent 8,000 e-mails in one month.
Something to shoot for Dan? Personally, I prefer text messages over conventional phone conversations. Text messages are discreet, private, and manageable. I can understand why Steven might have preferred text based communications over any other medium.
I think ‘Steven’ needs therapy.
