Informational websites which display the location of sex offenders in your area are nothing new. There are a handful of sites which allow you to search your surrounding neighborhood for registered sex offenders. Most of these sites utilize data collected from State registries.

PervWatch alleviates the time consuming ordeal of browsing through State records. PervWatch plots the registred addresses of sex offenders on a Google Map. At the moment the free public service is limited to California, Florida, New York, and Texas. I think the name alone makes up for the lack of full data coverage. Sex offender registries are being updated daily.

This kind of crap stuff doensn’t interest me. The name is decent though… PERVwatch. It’s like the neighborhood watch.
