How-To: Download music videos from iTunes

I stumbled upon a very useful PHP script which allows you to download complete music videos from iTunes. You have the option of downloading the smaller or larger .MOV format videos which can be imported into your personal iTunes library. [source]
Step 1: Open the iTMS and navigate to Music Videos in the left side column. Choose the video of your choice and right-click on either the ‘Small’ or ‘Large’ format clip. Choose ‘Copy iTunes Music Store URL’.
Step 2: Go here and paste the URL into the video field and click ‘Submit’. The resulting page will present you with a link to download the complete video from iTunes. Right-click and choose ‘Save Link As’. Make sure to rename your video appropriately.
These are high quality Quicktime .MOV files. The larger versions weigh in at about 50MB so make sure you have a lot of hardrive space if you plan on ergh making use of this script.

figuring out a php hack for accessing videos via itunes 6 is a little easier said than done. my only recommendation is to check the frontpage routinely (RSS).
the video’s downloaded off of yahoo vary in quality. most of the time the choppiness can be attributed to your actual computer. make sure your codecs and video drivers are updated.
i have a question. if you still work with an earlier version of itunes (meaning before they changed how the videos are) could you “steal” the videos? i use version 6.o but i still have the c.d for my old itunes, so could it work?
running an old version wouldn’t work considering itunes has changed the backend of the iTMS completely. itunes users wishing to download tracks from the music store are required to update their software.
Sadly I found this script after iTunes changed the backend so i was to late to download. But i was wondering if those of you who did manage to download iTunes Music Videos post the links on a website so others could right-click, save target as and watch.

Weel I need help I have iTuns 6.0 in my computer and I´m trying to get music videos for free and I found this page, with this way to get them for free but I have to get iTuns 4.9 or 5.00 I get them but when I install them at the end a message told me that ituns can´t be read it because there were a library with the newest version of iTuns, can some body tell me what can I do.

Do I need to have an older version of iTunes so I can get the free music videos? cause I have iTunes 6.0 and when I copy the iTunes Music Store URL, then when I paste the URL, it does not show any downloazd link or anything. Try to solve this problem 4 me.

uum, actually guys this isn’t working anymore, because there are no more free videos on the itms! you gotta pay these days, this tut was working back in the days when apple was showing them videos as a bonus!

why do they fail to tell you not to download the itunes setup if you do not live in the countries listed- before download? ipods are sold all over the world but you can’t download itunes!!!

Hello, I recently bought an ipod, and had to download the 7.0 version, after reading all the comments on this page, I am pretty sure that, as smart & cool as this website is for trying to help people, it ain’t gonna work, esp if you have a newer version don’t waste your time, don’t believe me? Just read all these comments above of ppl trying to follow these instructions and having no results, the same thing happened to me, so it ain’t gonna work sadly to say. Hopefully there is a useful website (as easy friendly and helpful as this one was) that will help ppl download free music videos without wasting time
