No more banner ads. No more licensing fees. No more searches on crack sites.

Opera has removed the banners, found within our browser, and the licensing fee. Opera’s growth, due to tremendous worldwide customer support, has made today’s milestone an achievable goal. Premium support is available.

Paid Premium support on a web browser? I don’t think there are any monthly oil changes needed for Opera are there? With such a large user base, you would think that any problems you might encounter could be resolved with a quick web search. Finally. Opera realized that no one wants to pay for a browser. The news should increase the number of Opera users.

    Opera is now freeware. Opera is a web browser, which is far older than Mozilla, and has a decent sized user-base. It has similar features to Firefox.

    What effect will it have on Firefox?
