Google Secure Access: a downloadable client application that allows users to establish a more secure WiFi connection via Google’s secure VPN.

An interesting new public service offered by Google. Are you going to trust your encrypted data to pass through Google servers? GSA – sounding like some sort of government program – is a beta service. It may or may not successfully connect with Google’s VPN [Virtual Private Network] from your location. It is being released in certain areas of the San Francisco area. At the time of posting it did not work from Seattle. Internet users who downloaded Google’s internet accelerator will notice a familiar looking icon in their system tray after installation.
