Trolling for cocaine

First, there was the recent drug smuggling tunnel under the US / Canadian border, now I’ve just learned that smugglers use unmanned submarine-like vessels:
The U.S. Coast Guard, acting on Colombian intelligence, intercepted a ship towing an unmanned submarine-like vessel that held more than 2 tons of cocaine [...] The underwater capsule, which was attached by a metal cable, was designed so smugglers could tow it below their boat and escape detection if drug agents searched the ship.
Unfortunately all these drug smuggler prove to be idiots in the long run. Hey, remember the kid that super glued packets of heroin on to his head?

Oh really? I’m surprised the more successful drug smugglers don’t purchase a decommissioned submarine to transport their goods.
