UNEASYsilence Konfabulator widget

I delayed posting this until the widget was officially uploaded into the Konfabulator Widget Gallery. There isn’t much of a description needed. It’s a basic RSS widget that pulls the latest posts from UNEASYsilence.com. If you’re a Konfabulator user, check it out. There are two other minor banner choices. If there is any interest in the alternative banners I’ll make them available as well. [1/14/06].
OSX users will need to sit tight for a bit, we’ll have an official UNEASY Dashboard widget released as well.
Download your copy here or from the Widget Gallery. The local copy hosted on UNEASY fixes a minor text overflow. I’ve submitted the minor update to Konfabulator which is waiting for approval. We also have a forum thread running for any bug reports.
Sadly, the widget, just like the site header, says “Un*F*asySilence”
Hmm I’ve often wondered if I should have raised the E in UNEASY. I always thought people could easily discern that the top white line represented the bottom part of the E. OK now you have me staring at the top banner on the page and the widget. Ergh where oh where did I save that font file…? I’ll have to wait a little bit for things to settle.
LOL, I remember emailing either Dan about that before, he responded, but still no change. :P

It’s probably better if we addressed the minor header change(s) when we kick the Dashboard widget out the door. I think Dan was going to use the same .psd for the Dashboard widget that I used on this Konfab widget. We’re trying to keep everything consistent. I would change the widget now but I realized that I didn’t have the font file. I’m pretty sure Dan has it.

No need for OS X users to sit tight for a bit… the Widget Engine runs on both Mac and Windows.  : )
