Major competition for the likes of Technorati, Blogpulse, and Feedster? I think so. Google’s dedicated Blog Search is now live. They still have a little indexing to catch up on, but I’m sure they’ll cut through the blogosphere like a hot knife through butter. Google is relying on RSS feeds for scraping content so blogger better check to see their feeds are getting out.

Blog Search is Google search technology focused on blogs. There are two methods for accessing the new Blog Search. One is the aforementioned link above, the second is through http://uneasy.me/68X.

It’s interesting to note that there is an obvious delay between clicking on search results and seeing the actual content. Immediately after clicking a link I was forced to view a redirect screen (~1 sec). I must have caught an early bug.
