Here’s an interesting idea for an “email” alternative. Instead of using conventional means – like Gmail, Yahoo, ect. – for sending correspondences back and forth between individuals, why not use RSS? FeedMail, or email over RSS, is a service which creates private encrypted weblogs for for you and each of your contacts. Contacts can subscribe to the blog using their own RSS readers. All “emails” are done using your FeedMail usernames and contact lists.

After you receive a new message in your feed reader, you’re able to reply just like a normal email. Your recipient receives the message in their own reader.

Have I confused you yet? Ah just try it out for yourself. I registered just to see how it works.
