10 Steps to improving your resume
How many times have you found yourself sitting in front of your computer wondering how to put your resume together? I know I’ve found myself in this same situation at least once every few years. It’s not that I go through jobs like butter, it’s just that I am restless. One day I know I’ll find the perfect position that I’ll be content with for years to come. Until then – like millions of other young Americans – I find myself routinely updating my resume. For beginners just starting to create that ideal resume (ahem Ann :)), I recommend referencing the following page which provides “Ten Easy Ways to Improve Your Resume.”
Use a bulleted style to make your resume more reader-friendly. Eliminate “responsibilities” words from your resume vocabulary. Use strong, concrete verbs to describe your jobs, and don’t mix noun and verb phrases. Don’t list too much experience on your resume.
