Audioscrobbler & Last.fm have received a much needed upgrade… The two services are now one in the same. Prior to the updat users had to visit both sites independant of one another.

I’m not sure if any of you use or have heard of Audioscrobbler. If not, I highly recommend that you check the service out if you’re into music. Audioscrobbler is an online “social” community which tracks your music listening habits. By tracking which songs you listen to, Audioscrobbler is able to create a recommended list of artists and songs for you to consider the next time you download tracks from your favorite p2p app check out the iTMS, or whatever paid service you might use. One of the high points is the ability to share your playlists with other people through Last.fm.

Here’s a link to my account which shows what I’ve listened to over the past couple weeks. Note that they now offer the ability to stream music as long as you download a special player. Don’t mind the sluggishness. I’m sure everything will be sorted out in the next couple of days.
