Fishing for Sea-men
In world news and more confirmation that submarine operators are brave brave individuals….

That’s Dr. Suess’s official pimped out ride.
A Russian mini-submarine with a crew of seven was stranded 620ft below the ocean surface after a military training opt went awry. The vessel propellers snagged a few fishing lines entangling the propulsion system preventing the team from surfacing. A world-wide effort is underway as special teams from Britain, Japan, and the US are sending unmanned subs and teams to assist in the rescue.
At this time Russian officials are reporting that tow ropes were successfully attached to the vessel. International teams will continue to provide assistance in the event the vessel is unsuccessfully dragged to shallow water.
Update 08.06.05: The 7 submariners trapped under water for 3 days have surfaced. Read more here.
