Not so mighty now are you Mr. Mighty Mouse?

In keeping with the usual “let’s take this beautiful Apple product apart to see what’s ticking under the pristine shell” approach, Ars.Tech took the liberty to gut the little critter.


See the fancy sensors under the top shell to detect left & right clicks?

I’m not too happy seeing ‘naked’ images of Apple hardware. Hurry up and get that thing covered up! I still shudder thinking of Apple fanatics purchasing iMac G5’s only to take them home to dissect.
Oh well. Curiosity is human nature. More pictures and a detailed walk through after the jump. Does anyone else think that Apple should have gone wireless on this first Mighty Mouse?

    Rest assured that the mouse still “works”… it just looks like it was dug out of a dumpster after being run over by a truck. ;)
