Dell is tired of the complaints

This site is not responsible for any misunderstanding.Apparently Dell has temporarily / permanently closed the Dell support forums to keep the bad publicity at bay. Too many complaints without any resolutions I guess.
Dell is not the first company to find its customers revolting online; Apple has taken similar measures in the past, though not gone quite as far as deleting an entire category of discussion.
Just the other day I spoke with someone who had contacted Dell support with a problem he was having. Dell’s recommendation was to trash the msconfig startup items and reinstall all the software. What kind of service advice is that? It just goes to show that the best service advice is the kind you find yourself. Ever heard of Google?
