Sean John McDonald’s uniforms
Could McDonald’s uniforms be the next hip-hop style movement? McDonald’s Chief Marketing officer Bill Lamar is turning to mainstream designers such as P. Diddy and Tommy Hilfiger for styling cues to make uniforms “more appealing”.
The idea is to turn employees into walking brand billboards as they circulate among their peers, the report said. Other places the fast food chain is looking at: the retail chains American Eagle Outfitters and Abercrombie & Fitch, as well as fashion brands American Apparel, Fubu and Rocawear, the report said.
Wouldn’t these clothing designers be shooting themselves in the foot if they stoop to designing apparel for grease laden, hamburger flippin’ franchises?
