no, i dont think that will ever happen i trust google, dont you?

Well I’m not sure if I ‘trust’ Google. I know that Google collects tons of data for each user that conducts searches, Google has full access to all emails to and from Gmail, they’ve even cached browsing habits for users. It’s not so much that I do or don’t trust Google, I’ve just accepted that fact that Google is fully aware of my surfing habits.

I just make sure to keep all questionable activity on the DL or initiate precautions to keep actual private data PRIVATE.

well, i know google knows everything about me, and then some. I just dont think that they will ever “loose” that info to the net, or their servers will crash, the sattlite images are real, its from another company which google bought, but before they bought it, the company claimed they were real.
servers crash all the time, thats why gmail, and orkut are down often, the latter more then the first, will they loose all of our emails, doubtful, they have them backedup in so many places. (which makes even more people scared)
