Have you ever visited a website and thought.. “Hmm, where have I seen that logo before?” Or something else along those lines? Most designers out there are happy to share as long as they are given due credit. But hey, why do that? The interweb is so BIG. How would anyone ever know you “borrowed” code or images right?
