Joan Kennedy, the former wife of Massachusetts Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, is in the hospital recuperating from a concussion and a broken shoulder after a passer-by found her lying in a street, according to her son.
My heart goes out to Ms. Kennedy and those people who sincerely love her. I hope that she finds peace within herselfe and the world around her. Her battles with alcohol are a personal matter that she and she alone must deal with. I would dare say that the public glare only adds to the pressure of dealing with this very unforgiving problem. My heart and my prayers are with her. I wish her peace.
I also feel a tremendous sadness. I hate it when I read something in the paper due to her drinking. Every one should just leave her alone she is in enough pain.
