It’s fruit with a kick. Miller Brewing says it’ll test market a new fruit-flavored malt beverage from South Africa, even though the brewer has dropped other flavored malt drinks because of disappointing interest.

The Milwaukee brewing company will test a product called Brutal Fruit in Seattle, Tampa and Richmond, Virginia beginning March 14th.

Miller says the product is fruit juice with five percent alcohol, much like beer. It’ll come in four flavors — strawberry, mango, kiwi and raisin-like litchi.
